Rebecca Blume Rothman is an artist who began her artistic practice as a photographer and, in 2017, turned to making small and medium-scale drawings, paintings, and works on paper. She  has received national and international recognition and awards from Fotohof Gallerie of Salzburg, Austria (2001); FedEx/ Urban Art Commission Award (2005); Picturing Arizona Commission/Virginia Piper Foundation (2011); and has had multiple exhibitions nationwide.

Additionally, Rothman is Public Art Manager for the City of Tempe, Arizona where she oversees Art in Private Development projects, Capital Improvement Art projects, Neighborhood Art Grants, and Temporary Public Art initiatives. She lives with her husband, daughter, and their very large dog in the Sonoran desert.
